I'm not sure which section this is in, but the information we received at MCC is that there is no plan to redesign the science labs. They are woefully inadequate and do not meet state standards for safety and ADA. This was supposed to be a Measure Q project, but apparently tabled due to lack of funding. Before it is decided to build a conference center here, wouldn't it be prudent to upgrade the lab to better serve our students, and the community that overwhelming voted to raise their property taxes?? |

Delete the current pre-amble and have someone write a version that reflects the concerns of the campus, not the president. What's here is so bad that you just need someone to start from scratch. |
