College of the Redwoods puts student success first by providing outstanding developmental, career technical and transfer education. The College partners with the community to contribute to the economic vitality and lifelong learning needs of its service area. We continually assess student learning and institutional performance and practices to improve upon the programs and services we offer.

The Program Review Committee’s work supports the district’s mission by providing a means of systematic, collaborative, and evidence-driven self-evaluation for all instruction, student services and institutional support areas. In order to assure maximum effectiveness, reviews are conducted on a regular cycle and the findings are linked to the annual planning process for all programs and services.
During the 2011-12 academic year, the committee will put emphasis on “closing the information loop” between the Program Review Committee and the integrated planning committees. Our focus is to be more diligent in receiving reports from these committees and reporting back to program review authors, as well as informing the district where the information can be located.
